I purchased a house in Fort Lauderdale, FL, in June of 2019, after moving in from out of state. This is my third single family home I have purchased, but my first experience with Scott. Here is my top 5 list for why I chose and would recommend Scott as your real estate agent in no particular order: 1. Broker agent. Scott’s experience is very broad. He isn’t just an agent, he is a broker agent, and he also has a diverse group of rental properties to draw experience from. He has experience with multi-family units in addition to single family. 2. Excellent communication and constant contact. Scott is always available via text, email, and phone, and replies promptly, even on his vacation overseas. 3. Multiple offer winner. Scott crafted a winning but fair offer out of four received, saving me some money in the process. 4. Expert negotiation skills. When additional issues resulted from inspection, Scott was on it and got additional concessions from the seller. He also renegotiated the concession when I needed the seller to perform some repairs before closing. 5. Extensive network of reliable contacts. I used most of Scott’s contacts in support of the sale as well as for repairs and renovations. It is exhausting finding reliable people on your own, so leveraging his network eliminated a lot of stress for me. These are the same people he uses for his rental properties. And finally, some other adjectives that describe Scott: trustworthy, professional, punctual, good listener, patient, honest, technologically savvy, dedicated, knowledgeable.

When select someone to work with on an extremely important transaction like completing a 1031 exchange, it’s critical to have a timely response to calls, emails, and questions. Scott is a true professional and his team were superb at managing the entire process, working with exchange companies, lawyers, accountants, inspections, appraisers and the list goes on - including saving us $80k on the purchase.
